AUTOCAD - 3D

This course explores the three-dimensional viewing and construction capabilities of AutoCAD. Topics covered include a review of point coordinate entry and the user coordinate system (UCS). Spherical and cylindrical coordinate entry, 3D viewing techniques, 3D geometry construction, solid modeling surface meshes, and regions are also introduced. The use of multiple viewports for 3D constructions and a standard engineering layout are covered. The creation of presentation graphics using bitmap files, shading, and rendering is also discussed.


CAESAR II - Fundamentals

CAESAR II Fundamentals Course will give users the opportunity to quickly learn how to navigate and use many of the features in Intergraph's® CAESAR II® Software.

The course goes step-by-step through modeling the three examples discussed in this section of the code using the CAESAR II pipe stress analysis software. The last lesson works with a line imported from a 3D CAD modeling system, and will allow use a number of software features as the line is edited to increase its flexibility.

MATLAB

MATLAB for Engineering Students” is a document for an introductory course in MATLAB°R 1 and technical computing. It is used for freshmen classes at Northwestern University.
