General Introduction:

Process of Establishing New PMO and Principles of Project Governance training. is a project management office (abbreviated to PMO) where a group or department within a business, government agency, or enterprise that defines and maintains standards for project management within the organization. The PMO is the source of documentation, guidance and metrics on the practice of project management and execution. The primary goal of a PMO is to achieve benefits from standardizing and following project management processes, policies, and methods.  The PMO attempts to standardize and introduce economies of repetition in the execution of projects.

Outcomes of PMO training materials is that trainees will be able to identify and analyze major problems in any organization/firm through utilized tools of analysis along with governed tracking and effective reporting system this can be achieved based on the unified project management method that they will develop and adopt. In addition, conducting periodic audit of the running activities at the firm /sites will be earned by the trainees.

General Introduction: Project governance keeps projects running smoothly, on budget, with timely deliveries and client satisfaction. To do this consistently, overall framework that oversees the project must be developed by senior management. Project governance is the framework for how project decisions are made. Therefore, it covers policies, regulations, functions, polices, procedures and responsibilities.  It provides directions and defines decision-making procedures and metrics for validating impacts to the project. It also enables the project team to deliver on requirements and creates a forum for issue resolution to occur in a timely manner. An effective project governance in an organization makes sure the projects keep running smoothly with respect to the three pillars which are structure, people, and information in an organization

Goals and objectives: The outcomes of project governance are leading the trainees to understand how projects can be executed and delivered on time through approved mechanism, based on clear understanding, directions and instructions that is developed from approved standards and process without any deviation.
