General introduction:

It doesn’t relate or belong to a single design discipline; it is a teamwork managed and controlled by a design manager. The roles and responsibilities of design manager to maintain essential structure of design process. This depends on the policy of design /consultancy office he works for, the size of the office, type of projects they design and type of their clients, experience of design team, the current market position. Design management in general is a work process support and manage the design from inception to completion through the design manager who work with people and processes to come out with cost effective design that meet the client needs. His work includes planning, organizing, controlling, staffing, and directing design team and processes of all design.
Course goals and objectives:
Process of design management in construction projects is created for managing design procedures require regular follow-up efforts from design manager with his team.
